Hooray, Leah!! Thank you so much for sharing your story tonight at the LBFE Gala. I don’t know if you would remember me, I’m Crystal Booth, a former social worker with Meals on Wheels, and some years ago came out to your home for a visit. The hour we spent together stuck with me for a long time. I was so impressed by your life and work. I was so happy to see you tonight and witness the connection you’ve made, one that opened up your world, as you said. The senior center where I now work is over near the Milk Been so I’ll look out for you two when I walk by there :) If you guys ever need a quiet place to record your podcast, come by the Downtown Senior Center at 481 0’Farrell. We have great Wi-Fi, too :)
